Benewah Community Hospital is a county-owned, non-profit 19 bed critical access hospital/rural health clinic with specialty clinic located in St. Maries, Idaho. For more than 50 years, Benewah Community Hospital has been providing high quality healthcare to individuals, families and visitors in Benewah, Shoshone, and Kootenai counties. We offer our patients a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services providing high quality care in a rural setting. Bonner General Health

Bonner General Health is a community owned, not-for-profit 25 bed critical access hospital in Sandpoint, Idaho dedicated to providing excellence in healthcare.

Bonner General Health provides inpatient services, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation therapy, emergency care, home health and hospice services, anticoagulation clinic, wound care center, and physician clinics.

Our clinics are located in Sandpoint, Ponderay, and Priest River. Our medical care is supported and provided by over 50 physicians and over four hundred employees. From preventative medicine to ongoing treatment, BGH has the expertise and the facilities to improve the health and lives of the members in the communities we serve.

Boundary Community Hospital

Boundary Community Hospital is located in the small rural town of Bonners Ferry, Idaho which lies 30 miles south of the Canadian Border. Our community boasts the beautiful Kootenai River flowing through the heart of our town and is surrounded by the majestic Selkirk, Purcell and Cabinet Mountain Ranges.

Founded by E.E. Fry in 1907, Boundary Community Hospital is now a county owned 20-bed Critical Access Hospital with an attached 28-bed Extended Care Facility (Skilled Nursing Facility). Our hospital is accredited by DNV, certified by Medicare and Medicaid and licensed by the State of Idaho, Department of Health and Welfare. We have fifteen physicians on our active medical staff with additional visiting physician specialists in Cardiology, General Surgery, and Women’s Health.

We are pleased to offer a full diagnostic imaging department that includes X-ray, CT scan, Ultrasound, Mammography and Bone Densitometry services with an MRI available on a weekly basis. Our Rehabilitative Services Department provides speech, physical and occupational therapies on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The Emergency Services Department is staffed 24 hours a day by both a physician and a registered nurse. Our Laboratory Services Department is staffed by a Phlebotomist and Medical Technologists seven days a week.

Kootenai Health provides a comprehensive range of medical services to patients in northern Idaho and throughout the Inland Northwest. The main campus at Kootenai Health is located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and includes a 331-bed community-owned hospital. Kootenai is accredited by DNV and holds Magnet Designation for nursing excellence. It has been recognized among large employers as the No. 1 Best Place to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine, and it is regularly recognized by Cleverly and Associates for providing value to its community.

Shoshone Medical Center

Shoshone Medical Center is a 25 Bed Critical Care hospital offering full service acute and rehabilitative patient care and physician staffed 24/7 emergency services. Patients who are recovering from surgery or stroke will benefit from the comprehensive menu of in-house services offered in the “Swing Bed” Program. The radiology department offers CT, MRI, ultrasound and general x-ray and functions under the supervision of a Board Certified Radiologist. The laboratory is certified by the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare as well as CLIA, CAP, API and AAB and offers rapid service with same day results. Outpatient Services include infusion services, sleep order evaluations and physical, speech and occupational therapies. Chemo therapy is offered at SMC as prescribed by physicians in the Kootenai Cancer Center. All this service is offered by professional staff who are committed to your continued good health.

Syringa Hospital and Clinics

Syringa Hospital and Clinics (SHC) is a non-profit, district-owned, 16-bed, acute care Critical Access Hospital located in Grangeville, Idaho. For over 80 years SHC has served a rural district in an area encompassing over 8,000 square miles.
The hospital offers 24-hour emergency care including ambulance services, inpatient and outpatient services, obstetrics, laboratory and radiology diagnostic services, therapy services and hospice care. Outreach clinics in Kooskia and Elk City (56 and 61 miles away respectively) allow Syringa to serve patients in medically underserved outlying areas.  Syringa is dedicated to providing the quality healthcare experience you deserve.
